Tigerettes

The purpose of this spirit group is to provide and promote school spirit.

 

Tigerette Rules and Regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

1.      Girls in grades 4th through 8th can join tigerettes.  Being a Tigerette is mandatory in grades 5th and 6th if they want to try out for cheerleader at the end of the 6th grade year.2.      Tigerettes will cheer only during HOME football games.  Attendance is important.  (See ** below)  A parental written excuse for absence is required.3.      Members are expected to conduct themselves in a way that is positive to R.C.E. and its philosophy.4.      Members are subject to the authority of the sponsors, administrator, and other adults who are assisting in any activity.5.      Members are expected to adhere to the guidelines listed above concerning grade requirements for extracurricular activities.6.      Members are expected to be properly uniformed at all home football games:

a.   UNIFORM:    Tigerette Tee Shirt, black shorts, white socks, and tennis shoes

b.   HAIR: neatly styled (out of face)

c.   HAIR RIBBONS: only solid black or white

d.   NO make-up, nail polish or jewelry

7.      Members are expected to be prompt for all practices, games or activities involving R.C.E. cheerleaders.  Report to sponsors one half hour before games begin.  Parental written excuse for absence is required.

 CONSEQUENCES:

If a tigerette chooses to disobey any of the above requirements will result in immediate parent/sponsor conference with the possibility of suspension or dismissal from the squad.

 

Note: A Tigerette is allowed to miss no more than two (2) games during the season.   If they miss more than two (2) games they will not be allowed to either join tigerettes or try out for cheerleader the following school year.

 Each girl must purchase a tigerette tee shirt that is to be worn at all games. Academic Standards

The Tigerettes will adhere to the same rule and standards set forth for the cheerleaders.
